Revisions made to the code of conduct for councillors 

East Riding of Yorkshire Council has made revisions to its code of conduct for councillors. The code of conduct sets out the standards of behaviour the council expects of councillors when they are acting as councillors.

The council has made revisions to its code. The most significant amendment is that a councillor with a pecuniary interest in a matter must now leave the room rather than retiring to the public gallery.
