Worklink
Description
Worklink offers work based employment/training and supported employment/training.

Worklink provide work based training, create CV and cover letters, support 1-1 in the work place and with on-going support thereafter. Worklink also provide sheltered training and work based learning for adults who at the present cannot access open employment but are gaining those skills.

At present 150 adults access the Worklink service across the three sites either as a student obtaining a qualification, undertaking supported employment or undertaking work based training.

Employment Skills Programme
The service has an in house training programme teaching health & safety, preparation for work and life skills. In house certificate on completion of training.

All sites have car parks that are easily assessable and have disabled parking within the car parks.

Who this service is for
Worklink cater for adults with a Learning Disability who reside within the East Riding of Yorkshire. Access to the service will be determined after a personal assessment.
How we communicate with children, young people with SEND and their families

All new staff undergo an in-depth induction to the service including shadowing an experienced staff member and completing a certificate in Care.
All students undergo a person centered work appraisal. An exit review is arranged on completion of the qualification were parents, carers and professionals are invited. Worklink host a presentation for students once completed and invite family members and friends to celebrate.
Parent and sibling involvement
Parents and siblings are encouraged to visit Worklink as their family members are keen to show their working skills. 
It is not appropriate for siblings or parents to attend as a support worker.
Registered service and regulatory body
The service has a City&Guilds accreditation and works in partnership with Adult Education.
