East Riding Voluntary Action Service (ERVAS)

Description

East Riding Voluntary Action Services (ERVAS) provides support to the voluntary, community and not for profit sectors (VCS).
We have a formal membership voting on the way the organisation runs and we have an e-bulletin which we send out.
ERVAS help to provide lots of opportunities for young people across the East Riding such as:

Volunteen is a project run by ERVAS. It aims to help young people aged 10 to 25 in the East Riding of Yorkshire to increase life skills, by introducing them to new and enjoyable social action and volunteering. Volunteen enables us to reach many more young people, such as those in care or those with disabilities. Helping us to provide one to one assistance for those who need additional support to volunteer.

Vyper is set up to allow young people aged 10 to 25 in the East Riding to collect certificates of recognition for all of the volunteering that they are taking part in.

Virtual Youth Hub has been developed by ERVAS to provide young people with a space to connect with other young people, as well as offer information to parents and carers and those working with young people. You can access the Virtual Youth Hub via the ERVAS website: ERVAS - Young people: Virtual youth hub (external website)
