Description

Densholme Farm has an onsite Care Farm for people with learning, physical, mental health, emotional, social and behavioural difficulties. We also offer alternative curriculum placements for young people. We are situated on a 20 acre working organic farm and advocate that engaging with nature and participating in meaningful farming activities increases participants' health and well-being as well as learning new skills, making new friends and working as part of a team.

Staff training and experience

All staff receive a wide range of different training relevant their work and individual needs. Safeguarding Adults and Children training is undertaken by all staff. Policies are available on our website.

We are registered with Social Farms & Gardens. We have achieved the Code of Practice benchmark and the Learning Outside the Classroom accreditation.
