British Blind Sport

Description
COVID-19 Update

British Blind Sport have been operating online since the very first government lockdown. In the recent months we have held regular online workouts as part of our Active at Home programme. These have been created especially for those who are living with sight loss. These sessions are suitable for all ages and abilities and our inclusive instructors are able to provide suitable adaptations when required. In addition to the live sessions, we have a large bank of exercise and sports-specific online workouts on our YouTube channel. Finally we have hosted and interviewed 11 Paralympic athletes for our podcast series in the hope of inspiring more visually-impaired people to get active.

The charity enables blind and partially-sighted people to have the same opportunities as sighted people to access and enjoy sport and recreational activities in the UK.

These opportunities to enjoy sport are available to anyone with a visual impairment.
